Books on Green Burial

Greening Death   (2015)  by Suzanne Kelly
Kelly writes on topics about current funerary rites that are affected by the environmental movement.  The possibility of a more sustainable death care is throughly explored. Old practices are being reclaimed in new ways, leading to a greener, simpler and less costly funeral.

The Green Burial Guidebook  (2018)  Elizabeth Fournier
Elizabeth started the first green burial funeral home in Oregon years ago and in this book she provides very practical advice.  She offers strong rebuttal against our north American expensive and ecologically unsound traditional ways of burial.  The book has a resource list cross referenced for Canadians.
